이의경 교수 연구팀은 건강보험청구자료를 이용하여 palbociclib과 proton-pump inhibitor(PPI)를 병용하였을 때 질병 진행 혹은 사망의 위험이 높은 것을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 대규모 보건의료 빅데이터를 활용하여 실제 임상현장에서 해당 약제간 병용시 주의가 필요하다는 임상적 근거를 마련했다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
